Peanut Butter Fudge

3 cups sugar

1 ½ cups whole milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 tablespoons peanut butter (plain or crunchy)


In a saucepan, combine sugar & milk.  Simmer until mixture reaches soft ball stage on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract and peanut butter.  Beat well with spoon, then pour into buttered 9 inch square pan. Cut into squares.
