Jeff & Sheri Easter will be honoring cancer survivors and promoting cancer awareness this month for their 2nd annual "Paint Your Town Pink" campaign. At all of their concerts during the month of October, in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, they are asking everyone to wear pink to create awareness for breast cancer. The group will also be wearing pink nightly, and a portion of their concerts will honor cancer survivors and recognize local cancer care clubs in efforts to raise funds for these organizations.
Other Southern Gospel groups are also helping to promote awareness this month, such as the Driven Quartet, who will be wearing pink tie pocket squares to show their support.
Sheri Easter, a cancer survivor of four years herself, stated, "There is nothing like living with perspective and being able to always see the good in every moment of life. I am thankful that I had a wonderful support system of my family and all our wonderful friends throughout the country and the world. I know all our fans can help make a difference in the lives of others who are facing breast cancer."
