Note From The Publisher- Les Butler's Mother, Chloe Jean Butler, Passes Away

A note from the Singing News Publisher, Les Butler(full obituary follows):
Many of my artist and radio listener friends have been praying for my parents, both of whom have been in the hospital for several months. My mother, Chloe Jean Butler, went home to be with the Lord this morning at 10:10 AM EST.
We sincerely thank everyone for their prayers. Your outpouring of love has been overwhelming!
The funeral will take place at Globe Funeral Home, 17277 W US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2012, with Brother Don Painter and Brother Les Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowen Chapel Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2012, and until the service hour at 2 p.m. on Monday
Mrs. Chloe Jean Madden Butler, age 71, of St. Cloud, Florida, formerly of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday morning, October 11, 2012, in St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Florida.
She was born September 1, 1941, in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Cleff and Laura Jane Jones Madden.
Jean was a member of the Ocean Street Church of God in St. Cloud and was a homemaker. She was a former employee of the hospital in Gary, Indiana, when she and her husband, Bobby, lived there. Jean also worked in the St. Cloud-Kissimmee School System. She enjoyed going to church, singing, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Fred E. Madden, and one sister, Diana Kaye Madden.
Jean is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert "Bobby" Butler of St. Cloud; their son and daughter-in-law, Les A. and Beverly Butler of Smyrna, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Matthew Allen Butler and Amber Dawn Butler, both of Smyrna, Tennessee; and seven sisters and four brothers-in-law, Geraldine Bradley of Grayson, Kentucky, Corrine Bauman of St. Cloud, Florida, Jeanette and Leon Tabor, Francis Louise Gorman, Lois Ann and Tom Vestal, and Linda Sue and Wilbur Cross, all of New Castle, Indiana, and Betty Jo and Bill Chace of Kissimmee, Florida. Jean also leaves many other family members, church family, neighbors, and friends who will sadly miss her.
