Homemade Ice Cream


In a large saucepan, combine:

1/2 gallon whole milk

1 qt. half & half

3 beaten eggs

2 cups sugar

Stir mixture continuously till it slightly thickens, and is near the boiling point.  Remove from heat, and add one tablespoon of either vanilla or lemon extract.  Pour into ice cream freezer, pack with ice and salt, alet the fun begin!
