Preheat over to 325. Cream together butter and sugar. Beat eggs in one at a time. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt & spices. Add remaining ingredients, stir, and pour into two 9 x 5 greased loaf pans. Bake about an hour, until loaves test done with toothpick test. Let cool for 30 minutes before turning out of pans.
