Make
cornbread…1 cup self rising cornmeal…1 cup self rising flour 1 cup
sugar…1 egg…3 tablespoons oil…1 cup milk. 8 stalks of celery,
chopped…I medium onion, chopped….and ½ teaspoon each of these…salt,
pepper, and sage
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Set aside
Make bisquit bread…1 cup self rising flour…1 egg…1/2 cup milk…3 tablespoons oil…Bake at 350 degrees till brown. Set aside.
In a large bowl, crumble cornbread and bisquit bread together. In a
skillet, melt one stick of butter, and sauté celery and onion and add
to bread mixture. In separate bowl, beat 2 eggs and add to bread
mixture. Add turkey broth as needed to make stuffing moise, then blend
in sage, pepper and salt. Spread into 9-13 inch pan, and bake at 350
degrees for 30 minutes!
