The fourth of July is my favorite holiday. Yes, even ahead of Christmas. We never had much money for fireworks when I was growing up, which was probably a good thing looking back. Having only a few fireworks each year always made me more resourceful in their detonation, and many soda cans met their doom at the end of my firecracker fuses as did a number of ant hills. I am older and wiser now, but If I were in an ant I would be afraid - very afraid.
