Veteran's Day
Wednesday, November 11, 2009

Today is a day that is set aside to honor the brave men and women who have served to protect this country. From it's very beginnings, America's military has been instrumental in securing the freedoms that we enjoy today. Our freedom to worship as we please is in great part, because of our military. What other country says you have the right to pursue happiness? Today and everyday, I thank God for these men and women who have put self last and country first. Even within the past week, we have seen the sacrifice some of our military made even stateside. There are millions and millions of stories that will never be told of sacrifices on all levels. My heart is filled with pride when I see our military. I'm sure someone in your family or circle of friends has served in one of the branches of service. Make sure to say thank you to them! To all of our current military, veterans, and their families I say thank you, thank you, thank you. My family will go to sleep tonight knowing you are on guard.
